Rao Pahlad Singh Education Society has established new dimension in the arena of Education by establishing a chain of Educational Institutions such as a reputed Day boarding & Residential Sr. Sec. School since 1998, a college off Education and an Engineering college.Sh. O.P. Yadav a senior criminal lawyer and social activist is the founder-director of RPS Education Society. RPS Group of Educational Institutions under the Chairperson of Mrs. Pavitra Rao a distinguish academician, has been established with a sole vision-‘Education to all’.
RPS College of Engineering & Technology has been established in the remote area of the so called economically & educationally backward society. The people of this area have been dare to think beyond becoming ‘Sipahi’ in Military, Agriculture and cattle have always been the prime source of the livelyhood of the dwellers of this region. But honb’le O.P. Yadav has high aspirations and noble consideration fro the people of this area. The RPS Engineering College has been established with a vision to spread the light of technical enlightment to every nook & corner of this educationally backward area. Mr.Manish Rao is behind the vision of this pioneer Institute who himself is an Engineer.
RPS Engineering college started functioning in 2008.It is approved by AICTE/Govt of India & Affiliated to M.D.U., Rohtak. It is blend of social activists, lawyers, technocrats & other professionals. One of the objectives of it is to impart quality education in the field of science, technology & engineering in order to produce highly competent scientists, professionals, engineers who make significant contribution to the task of nation building & technocrate world.

Emancipation of students of their social and economic status will be our exigent priority.We at Rao Pahlad Institute of Engineering & Technology are committed to the cause of students education – creating practical avenues for them to pursue their creating interests that can later serve as their means of livelihood, helping them to attain financial independence, an important goal because from there comes the freedom of personal choice.
We at Rao Pahlad Institute of Engineering & Technology endeavor to equip all our students with the insight to objectively evaluate their strength and weaknesses, and be convinced about the choices they make in every aspect of their life from marriage to career choices. The knowledge imparted to them by a qualified staff and an able managing committee will enable them to be free in their creative expressions and lend them conviction and the experience to face new challenges.
Contacts with the industry have been established for placement and training our students of research & development field. Links/networking achieved by the promoters will also be utilized for our institution. We have targets to build up links with all the major industries located in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Punjab, HP, Chattisgarh, UP MP & Rajasthan. RPS education Society founded RPS College of Engineering, Balana, Mohindergarh, with a view to make it one of the renowned seats of learning in the fields of technology in our country. Our immediate aim is to upgrade this institution into a university so that we may do world class teaching and research relevant to our industry. Our emerging profile is to equip our students and teachers with talents, technologies, and resources so that they are ever ready to help our corporate sectors for emerging as the leaders in the global market.To this end, we are dedicated to create professionals and engineers with know-how and confidence who are the future leaders in various sectors of our economy. The excellent result of our first y ear students is happy augury towards the fulfillment of our efforts to achieve academic excellence. Indeed we are highly encouraged by the academic performance of our students and faculty members, and would like to do even better in future.

Guidelines
- The institute expects its students to be responsible individuals who seek advice when they need it but also are capable of managing their own affairs.
- The faculty assumes that all students come to the institute for a serious purpose and that they will conform cheerfully to such regulations as may necessarily be made by the Faculty, the director or the affiliating University from time to time for the efficient administration of the institute.
- Students are expected to behave with decorum, to obey the regulations of the institute and to pay due respect to members of staff.
- Unethical or undesirable conduct, whtich is inconsistent with general good order, wherever it may occur, will be held to be sufficient ground for dismissal.
- It is each student’s won responsibility to keep himself/herself informed of all the official notices displayed on the college notice board.
- Students are required to attend with regularity the course for which tey have entered. For absence due to illness or some other genuine cause, a written application countersigned by the guardian/Hostel Superintendent should at once be sent to Director.
- Attendance will be taken for each lecture and practical class. Any student arriving late for a lecture or Practical will not be considered as having attended that class.
- Students who fail to attend at least 75% of the full course of lectures and practical in each of the subject will NOT be eligible to appear for the University Examination.
- It is the aim of faculty to administer discipline in the institute so as to maintain high standards of integrity and a scrupulous regard for the truth. The attempt of any student to present any work, which he/she has not honestly performed himself/herself, or to pass any examination with improper means is regarded as a most serious offence and reders the offender liable to immediate expulsion. Aiding and abetting of a student in any dishonest way will be taken as a grave breach of discipline.
- In case of damage to any building or to furniture, apparatus or other property of the institute, the same will be charged from the students known to be immediately concerned, but if the persons, who cause damage are unknown the cost of repairing may be charged equally form all the students of the batch, class or hostel as the case may be.
- Students should maintain proper discipline and order in the college. They should move silently while shifting from one class to another, without disturbing the other classes.
- Smoking within the college/Hostel premises or in the student’s Mess is strictly prohibited.
